I have decided to be a mystery guest in my Camping Village precisely to tell you and show you what a holiday with us is like!

Day 1: Arrival and discovery of the campsite

On arrival at Camping Village Rubicone, I was greeted by two nice and friendly ladies who explained everything about how the campsite works. After checking in, I was assigned my luxury mobile home 1, a real treat! Curious to see where I stayed? Take a look here.

As soon as I was settled in, I went to the Bar Arena for a delicious breakfast with fresh croissants and a fruit juice. Then, I took advantage of the morning to explore the campsite and meet the entertainment staff. The first activity of the day was a water aerobics class in the pool, perfect for cooling off and getting some exercise.

I spent the afternoon relaxing in the whirlpool area. It was an incredible experience, ideal for releasing all the tensions of the trip. After a quick shower, I got ready for a picnic dinner in the park with the new friends I had met during the day. We cooked a delicious barbecue while listening to crocodile hits thanks to the free internet line.
The evening ended with an exciting show in the Arena, where the lights, music and performances made everything magical.

Day 2: Hiking in the Hills

The second day was dedicated to an excursion in the hills of Cesena. After a light breakfast at Ciao Mare, a unique restaurant on the Riviera Romagnola with breakfast overlooking the sea and a terrace at the mouth of the Rubicone river, I prepared for a walk through vineyards and olive groves, enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view of the Romagna Riviera. In the middle of the day, we visited a renowned wine cellar, where I could taste delicious local wines.

Back at the campsite in the late afternoon, I took part in a beach volleyball tournament organised by the entertainment staff. It was great fun and I quickly made new friends. In the evening, another show entertained me in the Arena with incredible fire and bubble performances.

Day 3: Day of Sun and Sea

On the third day, I decided to spend the day at the beach. After a yoga class on the beach to start the day with energy, I relaxed under the umbrella with a good book. In the afternoon, I took part in a beach volleyball tournament and then dived into the cool waters of the water park.

The evening livened up with a Fruit Party in the Arena. It was great to taste fresh fruit, dance, listen to music and participate in this themed party. Every year there is a different theme and this year was particularly fun.

Day 4: Cooking and dancing

On the fourth day in the morning I treated myself to a haircut and a massage in the camp’s Beauty Centre followed by a relaxing dip in the swimming pool.

In the afternoon I took part in a cooking class where I learnt how to prepare delicious local recipes under the guidance of experienced chefs. I learnt how to make ‘homemade’ pasta. It was a real treat to taste our creations at the end of the course.

Day 5: Rain? No Problem!

The fifth day brought rain, but I was not discouraged. I like kids even though I don’t have any, so I decided to check out the kids’ club at the Arena Bar. I must say that it’s a lot of fun! The entertainers make the kids play, keep them entertained with creative activities and board games. It was great to see how much fun they were having.

In the afternoon, they organised a card tournament in the camp’s disco, which was perfect for socialising and having fun indoors. So I immediately took advantage of it and gave it my best, as I am very good at playing cards!
The evening continued with some excellent entertainment in the recreation room. Music, games and lots of laughter made the rainy day just as special.

Day 6: Trip to San Marino

On the sixth day, I took a trip to San Marino. The small independent republic offers breathtaking views, medieval castles and quaint shops. I strolled through the historic streets and visited the famous Rocca Guaita. After lunch at a local restaurant, I continued to explore San Marino, immersing myself in its fascinating history and culture.

Back at the campsite in the late afternoon, I took part in an archery lesson, followed by a soft-gym session. The evening ended with a circus show in the Arena, with acrobats and jugglers that left me and the entire audience breathless. Wow, what an experience!

Day 7: Relaxation and Goodbye

The last day started with a relaxing walk on the beach, collecting shells and enjoying the tranquillity of the sea in the early morning.

In the late afternoon, I participated in a dance class. From 2 July to 30 August, every Tuesday and Thursday (approximately) you can participate in Caribbean and hip hop dance classes with experienced dancers. To be on the safe side, ask at the entertainment office for the lesson schedule because they change from time to time! It was really fun to learn new steps and at the same time I met new people with whom I got to hang out a bit 😉

For dinner, I decided to try Ciao Mare, the little place where I had had breakfast the previous days and ate some excellent fish with a view of the sea and a breathtaking sunset. It was a perfect way to end my week, enjoying the delicious food and the spectacular view on the terrace at the mouth of the Rubicon river.

The week ended with a big farewell party in the Arena. I danced and celebrated together with the friends I had met during the week.
Although it was time to say goodbye, the memories of this fantastic holiday will always stay with me.
